A Beautiful Indian Summer aka ABIS, is the labor of love for Indian Textiles and Handicrafts. After having spent over two decades in the corporate world and having struggled to find the right outfit for everyday wear and Board meetings (Let’s admit! All of us have been there at some point!) I decided to bridge the gap in the market by marrying sustainable fabrics, size inclusive tailoring and craftsmanship to create effortless fashion.
At ABIS, our commitment to sustainability is not some buzzword or a fancy slogan. We are striving in every way possible to create renewable, ethical, and eco-friendly practices. We work together with our clients, manufacturers and distributors to ensure a fair and sustainable practice for everyone.
Adapting to the new sustainable model has been challenging as traceability in the fashion world is prohibitively expensive and effort intensive. But we believe that traceability enables circular fashion and this is indeed the right step to creating a sustainable future for generations to come !
