Skyn Bakery started as a solution to owner Clare’s children’s eczema, Clare began experimenting making natural creams to treat her children’s skin. “I started using my body butter on the children and it worked wonders on their eczema, I was able to stop using the steroid cream prescribed for them.” The business naturally expanded with more and more demand for Skyn Bakery’s natural skincare solutions.

Why the name Skyn Bakery? ”In the early days when I was experimenting, my husband commented that it looked like a skincare bakery in the kitchen due to all of the equipment I use which is similar to a baker (mixer for the body butter/scrubs etc) so I thought that’s it, I love the name we are Skyn Bakery.”

Now Skyn Bakery offers a full range of skincare, body care and home fragrance products.

Made in Britain

Skyn Bakery is a small family run business located in Ormskirk, a small town in the North West of England. Ran by Clare Blasbery, all of the natural handmade skincare and home fragrance products are manufactured by hand in their small studio space. Clare has formulated all of the products in house, which range from skincare, body care, soaps and home fragrance, selling to customers through their consumer website and supplying wholesale and private label clients throughout the UK.

Sustainable

Our packaging is 100% recyclable. We use either glass, paper/cardboard, aluminium or PET plastic (which can be near infinitely recycled) in our packaging. For example our serums and body oils are in glass bottles, soaps are in cardboard and paper packaging and our body butters and body scrubs are in PET jars, as they are often used in the bathroom, in or out of the shower where it is wet and there is less risk of smashed glass in the shower with PET.

Our ingredients are 100% plant based, we source only cruelty free, vegan and natural ingredients for all of our products.
